Plain-language check
Paste how-to steps, one step a line. The check marks computer words with a plainer way to say each, long steps and two-things-at-once steps, and gives a reading grade. Nothing is saved.
The reading grade uses the Flesch-Kincaid formula with syllables counted by a simple rule: treat it as an estimate. Aim for 8 or lower.
Your checked steps show up here, with the highlighter on.
